Made in America

It's important to me to support American jobs. I choose companies that make my products in America and pay well.

My books are made in America (when ordered in the USA). I chose a company that pays their employees well. They also offer benefits including health insurance, retirement, up to 20 weeks of paid maternity leave (with flexible hours upon return), and up to 6 weeks of paid paternity leave. When books are ordered from other countries, they may be printed outside the US (which supports jobs in their country). 

My shirts are printed primarily in America by a company that pays above average and offers benefits including maternity & paternity leave. Some of the blank shirts are made in America. Most are sourced internationally.

I'm Leanna Mae

I do a couple of different things. You'll find a variety of things on this page. I'd love to introduce you to what I create. I'm an author. I'm also a women's health educator and birth doula. I create digital downloads as well. For a side hustle, I have a shirt shop. 
#1 My writing
I write nonfiction books. I've written on several different topics. Currently available is Happily Frugal, The Subject of Salvation, and Lessons on the Author Life. All of them are available on Amazon. I'm in the process of writing a book on spiritual battle. 

I have written over 100 blogs. While those aren't for sale, there is the option to donate if you want to tip the author. 

I also write handouts for birth prep. See the shop for birthing women for digital downloads on birth prep. 
#2 Teaching 
I teach classes on birth prep both online and in-person. Check out my classes page to learn more. 
#3 Birth doula services
I offer Christian faith-rooted birth doula services in western Ohio. Learn more on my doula page.

This book has over 1,000 ways to save money!!! Chapter 6 is about saving money on monthly expenses, and it has over 600 ways to save. Chapter 8 has 50 tips for affording college. Wrap it up with goals and action plans to make progress in your personal finances.

The Subject of Salvation

Have you ever done a bible study on salvation? I had been Christian for several years before someone offered me a bible study on that topic. I knew 1 or 2 verses and heard conflicting opinions from people at different types of churches, but had never considered actually seeking out to find what the Word of God said on such an important thing. Who God is, who we are to Him, and how to be saved are important topics we should all know the scriptures on. I invite you to seek to study this with a desire to understand the topic well and be able to teach it too. This book can be used by individuals or by bible study teachers.

Lessons on the Author Life

Lessons on the Author Life is a guide for nonfiction writers seeking to indie publish. It has 88 lessons in it. I have been a published author since 2012, published my own books 12 times, and coached others in writing and indie publishing. This book holds everything I know about being an author. 

This book consists of 5 parts containing lessons in each area.
