Writing is my purpose and passion. It's not just what I do; it's who I am. I love teaching through my writing. I'm a nonfiction author. I write workbooks and educational guides for adults on a variety of topics within lifestyle & health + wellness. While I greatly enjoy creating books for the purpose of learning and improving, I may branch out to writing fiction someday.
I'm a very passionate person. I grow by growing others. I enjoy watching people on their own unique journeys of discovery and growth. I enjoy helping people improve their lives. I like to meet people where they are at in life, see into their soul, and watch the beauty of their path in this world unfold. Seeing people create what they want out of their days is deeply satisfying.
I have an unquenchable thirst for learning about things that interest me. I'm an INTJ, but decently close to INFJ. I love researching, organizing, writing, and presenting knowledge in a way that it can be easily applied. They say that knowledge is power. In my opinion, it's the application of knowledge that releases the power. What good is information if you don't know how to use it? That's why I like educating people. My degree is in health sciences. I was created to contribute to patient education. I am particularly passionate about evidence based maternal-infant health care. Women's health care is absolutely where I belong. I also have a heart for supporting people with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse disorders. While I enjoy encouraging them, the greatest joy comes from watching them heal. Recovery is beautiful. In the near future, I plan to start teaching classes online based on my books and perhaps a few blogs. Be yourself. They don't have to like you, but you don't have to care.
