Electric shavers are so much better than razors! Once I went electric I knew I would never go back to using an actual razor.

What I like about using an electric shaver
  • My electric shaver is just as close of a shave as all the razors I’ve ever tried. My legs are silky smooth with my electric shavers.
  • I never cut myself.
  • I don’t get razor burn. I’ve always gotten really bad razor burn to the point that my legs would look red raw and I would hide them. I never have that problem anymore.
  • I have very sensitive skin and I have no problems using either one of these razors.
  • I don’t have to fill up the tub with water.
  • It saves time. It’s quicker to sit down and use an electric shaver than it is to get in the tub or shave in the shower.
  • I can shave anytime. It doesn’t have to be before I shower. I don’t even have to get undressed (I only wear skirts). I can easily do a “touch up” shave in just a minute if my legs have gotten prickly. If I missed a spot, it only takes a minute to fix.
  • I don't have to be in the bathroom to shave. If you share a bathroom with people, you can easily shave in your bedroom. If you have kids, you can shave in the living room while you keep an eye on them.
  • It also saves money. Both electric shavers I’ve had only cost $20 (Walmart or Target). I never have to buy disposable razors anymore. I don’t need shaving cream. I don’t have to spend money every month on shaving supplies. The electric shaver lasts for years.

The only thing I don’t like about using an electric shaver is you have to remember to charge it first. I wish there was a plug in option. I will say they don’t work for me on wet skin. You’re supposed to be able to use it wet or dry. I only do dry.

I’ve had 2 electric shavers. For Christmas 2014 my Mom got me a pink Remington smooth and silky ladies shaver. I loved it. It worked great. Unfortunately, after a few months I dropped it and the blade bent. When I got a new one I debated on buying another Remington because I loved it so much or buying the ladies Panasonic wet/dry shaver with pop up trimmer with 3 blades. The only advantages to the Panasonic are it has a pop up trimmer and it plugs right into the wall so it saves space. I chose the Panasonic and have been happy. I would recommend both of these shavers. I honestly will never go back to razors. Give an electric shaver a try. They are great!
