You can hand write these on index cards. You can print these on cardstock or craft paper. You can also record these yourself so you can listen to your own encouragement during labor (if you don’t feel up for reading). Here are over 50 birth affirmations I was made to give birth. I’ve been waiting for this for so long. Each contraction brings me one step closer to my baby. I can do anything for a minute. I can do hard things. I am strong. I am capable. I am powerful. My body was designed to birth my baby. I am prepared for this. I surrender to the process. I open and release. I release tension and breathe in calmness. I am fearless. I am calm. This is natural. Birth is normal. The contractions can’t be stronger than me because it is me. Breathe in, breathe out. Cleansing breath. I can do this. Pain is progress. I accept and welcome labor. I can ride the waves. These surges are bringing my baby closer to my arms. My baby and I are working together in this. One contraction at a time. My cervix is blossoming as it opens for this journey. I am safe and supported. I trust my instincts. My body knows what to do. I grew this baby. I can birth this baby. I am confident. Birth is powerful, but so am I. I will birth without fear. My body is calm. My mind is at peace. I am grounded. I am centered. I am right where I need to be. I will be patient. This baby will come when we are both ready. I release fear and embrace strength. I am in tune with my body and listening to its wisdom. We are doing great! I will meet my baby soon. Women all around the world are giving birth with me at the same time right now. We are bringing life into the world. Women have been doing this for all of time. How blessed am I to join the generation of mothers in helping the world go on. The ability to give birth is a gift. There is a strength within me to conquer labor and delivery. I am doing something amazing. This is empowering. I am blessed to be able to give birth. I am grateful. I am resilient. I am able.
