Who is getting abortions?
One third of American women will have had at least one abortion by the time she is 45.
The racial breakdown: 34% white, 37% black, and 22% Hispanic. To put that in perspective, African Americans only account for 13% of the population, but over a third of abortions are done in black women. Black women are 5 times more likely to have an abortion than white women. In New York City, more black babies are aborted than are born alive. Planned Parenthood chooses to locate 80% of their abortion clinics in black neighborhoods. Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood. She was an outspoken racist. Abortion clinics’ targets are intentional. They seek to eliminate African Americans, racial minorities, and poverty. It’s plain as day. It’s genocide.
The religious factor: 65-69% report themselves as Christian.
Teens only account for 18% of abortions.
Women in their 20's account for the largest age group having abortions.
61% of abortions are performed in women who already have children.
Why are they being done?
Less than 1% of all abortions are because of rape or incest.
45% of abortions are had by women who are unmarried and not living with their partners. Half of women say a reason they had an abortion was because they didn’t want to be a single mom or they were having problems with the father of the baby.
42% of abortions are done to women below the poverty line.
One of the top reasons women say they had an abortion is because they couldn’t afford to take care of the baby.
Some people choose to have selective reductions to reduce multiples. Some who are blessed with twins don’t want to have twins. It’s not uncommon for fertility treatments to result in multiples. Some doctors will recommend “selective reduction” to increase the odds of carrying to term.
Gender also plays a role in abortion rates. This is a big issue in other countries where governments restrict the number of children allowed or culture has a strong preference for a boy. In India women are met with fierce opposition simply for being a girl from the time they are in the womb. So many female babies have been aborted because of their gender there is now a significant imbalance in the population of men to women. There aren’t enough women for all men to be able to marry. Gender based abortions happen in America too. With prenatal ultrasounds being routine and almost everyone knowing the baby’s gender by 20 weeks this can lead to gender selection.
Millions of babies have been murdered under the facade of calling it a woman's reproductive right. When will this end?
