This blog is not anti-vaccine, pro-vaccine, or anything in between. This short, non-bias blog is about making an informed decision on each vaccine. Blind obedience doesn’t produce education or understanding. It’s okay to ask questions. That’s how we learn.
Are vaccines effective? How much immunity do they provide? How long? How does it work? How safe are they? What are the possible risks? What vaccines should I get? When is the best time to get them? Who all should get vaccinated? Who has the authority over these personal medical decisions? These are questions people need to be asking themselves. Let’s keep this straightforward and simple. Let’s walk through the steps of learning about vaccines to make an informed decision. I’m not going to answer all these questions or I would end up writing a book on it. I’m also not going to tell you to avoid vaccines or get them all. I’m writing this to walk people through the critical thinking they should be doing before deciding on each individual vaccine.
I’m not going to fill in the answers to these questions. I’m simply recommending the questions to think about. It’s your job to do the research, find the reputable resources, talk to your health care providers, and decide for yourself which vaccines to get.
Think before you vaccinate.
It’s your responsibility to seek out the education.
